Taped by John Radawski - Setlist by hookahheads.com (many thanks!) Zoom H4n > 16bit wav > flac level 8 > archive.org DFC, 8 ft. stand, 90 degree mics, bass rolloff @ 80Hz. Notes on this source: I screwed up the levels on the first set. Luckily, the Zoom H4n just kicks into digital compression when you do that, so it never clips. I'm just embarrassed that I got some pretty squared-off WAVs. You probably won't hear the difference. I normalized the first set to match the second to the ear, not how the computer would have normalized the squared-off WAVs which would have made the first set sound way louder than the second. (Does that make any sense?) We moved closer to the stage for the second set, and I lowered the levels (accordingly, I thought), but ended up basically fixing my levels, so the second set is PERFECT!!! I apologize about the tracks named "dead air." I try to leave things alone, but I wasn't sure how much would need to be cut out to make this fit onto two discs. It turns out you'll need to lose a lot to get this onto two discs. If you want to make the second set fit on one disc just cut out the dead air tracks and the first encore (you won't miss it.) If you want to fit the first set fit onto one disc, cut out the dead air and one track. Personally, I would cut out Blue Eyed Girl. Otherwise, you're looking at a three disc operation. set 1. Started "late", about 7:49 PM d1t01. intro d1t02. Mississippi Steamboat d1t03. Good Time (Merry-Go-Round) d1t04. dead air d1t05. All Fall In Dreams d1t06. dead air d1t07. Better Man d1t08. Big 'Ol Freight Train d1t09. dead air, plenty of beer banter d1t10. Blue Eyed Girl d1t11. When The Sun Goes Down d1t12. dead air d1t13. Descent d1t14. Bluebird d1t15. dead air d1t16. Sister Sugar (w/jam) setbreak set 2. d2t01. Black Mamba d2t02. Riding With The King d2103. dead air d2t04. Abdega Gaga d2t05. dead air d2t06. Octofrye d2t07. dead air, setting up levels for the harp d2t08. Highway 61 Revisited d2t09. dead air d2t10. Steeped In Tears (to fireworks from the ballpark across the street.) d2t11. Loner E. d2t12. dead air, encore break appreciation d2t13. Come And See Me d2t14. Run Like Hell Done around 11-ish? There was a tiny bit of drizzle early in the evening. Otherwise, it was a prefect night. You have to hand it to Hookah. At the end of Steeped In Tears, the baseball game across the street (Go TinCaps!) was wrapping up to FIREWORKS, and Hookah (bless their hearts) jammed out to the frickin' fireworks! You can tell they were pleasantly surprised by the addition. Big thanks to: RedDawg, Sarah, Lauren, Larry, Charlotte, and Kayla for a pure and happy vibe! And my biggest thanks to my honey Dawn, of course, for helping me lug this junk around, and for diligently holding my beer! ;-) If you want to see "Rock The Plaza" continue, call the Allen County Public Library at 260-421-1200 and say "We Love Rock The Plaza!"
