A fraction of chicken flew from the stage compared to the night-before's SCOTS sets (maybe 3 pieces vs. 120). Then again, Waverly is pretty much BFE (Bum Fuck Egypt) when it comes to location (meaning they prolly had to send someone 30 miles for 1 "Eight Piece Box), but the crowd really ate it up. Mary sat in during DNC's set near the end. The guitars for DNC sound extra chunky. The crowd *loved* both bands Bacon, pimento cheese and tomato sammiches (sic) rule. Sweet tea: not so much (or not until most of the ice melts). Wildman Steve (from opening band Blackberry Possum, sadly not taped) has an online radio show, and already played the DNC for his listeners. And it was all over by 9pm. Had a great time, and hopefully that's reflected in what you hear. He's definitely more northern cultured, but he doesn't cry when he drives. His name is Dennis, so thank him for his prompt attention to this matter. My name is Steve...aka "Fuck Hagar". Or something like that. Do with that what you will.
