We were all excited that the boys had scored a major label deal and we had no idea that a Pete Best episode was fixin' to go down. I knew there was tension between Kevn and Paul. You could hear it and see it. Still, I had no idea during this red hot set that it was the swan song for the original trio. Highlights for me are a rockin' Powerhouse, a heavy Leader The Follow, a rare Lemonade Stand which is one of my top fave DNC tunes, and...wow...Danger Stranger...plus an incredible Stand Up and Fight For It, maybe the best ever. A great set list and there was more but dumb ass Dave only got one 90 min cassette worth.
