Went to see REM (Michael Stipe had his foot in cast and sat on a stool) for the first time and there was this killer opening band I'd never heard of fronted by this guy in a cool maroon paisley jacket (I think it's the same one as the cover of Live at Raji's) that reminded me of Van Morrison! - Jeff Lester (From the Steve Wynn Archive)
