View NotesDerek Trucks Band Berks Jazzfest Crowne Plaza Reading Reading PA April 4, 2009 Another great performance from the Derek Trucks Band. Fresh off the Beacon run with the Allman Brothers Band and a guest performance with the McCoy Tyner Trio, Derek is the ticket these days. Recording at the stage is hit or miss, this time it is hit. The audio is excellent, great mix, and not too much of the hoots and hollers from the appreciative crowd. Over the last couple of months the Band of Gypsies segment in Get Out My Life has developed from a tease to a full out version of the song. Derek also teases Little Martha during My Favorite Things, also influenced by the Beacon performance, which were dedicated to the memory of Duane Allman.
