View NotesThis is a Matrix mix of the other two sources on the Archive. Derek Trucks Band 2007-10-25 Jazzfestival Frankfurt, Hessischer Rundfunk Sendesaal Frankfurt, Germany MATRIX mix with FM radio and audience as listed below. Source: SP BMC-12 (omnis taped to rail in front of soundboard)>Radio Shack Volume Control (reversed for attenuation)>Sony Hi-MD mic input (16/44.1) Transfer: Sony Sonic Stage (USB upload)>CD WAVE> Audacity>Flac Frontend (verified at 5, tagged, align on sector boundaries) >>>>>mixed with (fm > nero wave editor > flac source pulled off Dime, upped by unclewolfi) using Audacity d1t01 Intro d1t02 Soul Serenade d1t03 Get Out My Life Woman d1t04 Crow Jane d1t05 Sahib Teri Bandi (Sufi Medley) d1t06 I Know d1t07 Band Intros d1t08 Done Got Over d1t09 My Favorite Things d1t10 I Wish I Knew d1t11 Crowd Encore Call d1t12 It Hurts Me Too Note: It's amazing how good this sounds, just the little mics (they are mounted in a croakie) into the Hi-MD. The room acoustics were stunning and the crowd was European...no chatterboxes or rebel yells! This was also my first attempt at mixing 2 sources, so you it's not as smooth as it could possibly be but still very enjoyable! Taper: mrsoul

View NotesThis show was also broadcast LIVE to German national radio. There may be a radio or pre-radio source soon but I think the warmth of this room recording will be hard to duplicate. I am very pleased with the sound of this simple tools recording. The room was perfect, Marty had it dialed exactly right and the crowd was so very quiet and respectful. Enjoy!
