Please use Lossy format for private listening and streaming only. TRADE ONLY LOSSLESS, PLEASE!!! I recorded from off the edge of the handicapped bleacher, strapping my iPhone 6 Plus with a Tascam im2W mic plugged into it onto a post. The im2W is made for an iPhone 4, so I used a 30 pin to lightening adapter (official Apple adapter is the only one that carries a consistent digital audio signal). Btw, this mic is really cheap on Amazon- like less than $15. I Used the limiter on the mic and recorded at somewhat of a low volume just in case the boys decided to blow it up. I also suspected I wouldn't being able to check my phone much. Live Nation workers were walking around earlier in the day threatening tapers to take their equipment if they didn't stop recording. This was even with bands that allow taping- something I had never seen before Live Nation became involved with this event. So, strapped to a post with a small bungee, I just let the recording go without interference. There is some talking, etc. that you would naturally get from a recording like this, but things turned out fairly well, all things considered, and I believe there is less crowd noise on my recording than the other one I have heard from archives.org. This little mic with my iPhone continues to surprise me. Lineage: im2W mic plugged into an iPhone (6+ with 30 pin to lightening adapter), Wav files captured with the App TW Recorder- it's free. Next, at camp, I transferred the recording (one long wav file) to a small netbook via iTunes File Sharing and dragged them onto the desktop. Once I was home, I rendered the recording by normalizing levels to 0 decibels with Cool Edit 2000 then split files with CD Wave Editor (and did some fades with Cool Edit on 2 tracks after realizing the first set was not going to fit onto one CD. Next, I used Trader's Little Helper to create Flac level 6 files and the Torrent. This is the show where Bobby calls out of some of our anti-gay, dumb ass polititians at the end of the show, and encouraged the crowd to go "Vote these assholes out of there." Anyone who wants to communicate with me- email me:

I hope you enjoy my recording! -David Fits on 3 CD's Decide if you want Bobby's remarks on the last disc or not- he had plenty to say about those in gov and the shooting of our gay brothers and sisters in Orlando a few days prior to this show. You can choose to burn the discs in different ways, however I have made the files to fit nicely in chronological order. I used fades on a couple of tracks to help with this fit. The first set started with a Jam -> Truckin, and Help's On the Way was the starter for Set 2. I was a little disappointed that they played Touch of Grey for the encore. Seems like the last year I followed the Dead when Jerry was still alive, that's all they played. Playing Tennessee Jed (In Tennessee) and adding Franklin's Tower at the end of the show when it wasn't played out of Slip Knot were nice touches. Thanks guys! Suggested way to burn CDs: song 01-09 on disc 1 (through Passenger- it fades out as it goes into a jam) track 10 - 12 from the first set as well as tracks 01-06 from the second set for disc 2 (Jam before Bird Song (Reprise) fades in to begin the disc and Drums fades out at end of disc 2). For disc 3- start with 07 on from the 2nd set- Space (I didn't use fade on this- just seeme to be natural without it) and go to the end- adding Bob's comments or not... CD 1: 1st Set tracks 01-09 CD 2: 1st Set tracks 10-12 + 2nd Set tracks 01-06 CD 3: Set 2 tracks 07-13 Set 1: 01 Jam 02 Truckin-> 03 Smokestack Lightening-> 04 Bertha 05 Playing In the Band-> 06 Bird Song -> 07 Tennessee Jed-> 08 Shakedown Street-> 09 Passenger-> 10 Jam -> 11 Bird Song (reprise) 12 Casey Jones Set 2: 01 Help's On the Way-> 02 Slip Knot-> 03 Scarlet Begonias-> 04 Fire On the Mountain 05 Terripin Station-> 06 Drums-> 07 Space-> 08 The Other One-> 09 Warf Rat 10 Franklin's Tower 11 (Crowd Noise) 12 Touch of Grey (Encore) 13 Bobby Talks Politics
