OldNeumanntapr Notes- This was another show at the Pozo Saloon, a 100+ year-old stage stop out in the country south east of Santa Margarita, CA. Bill Gaines was doing sound and I would always ask him to ask the artists if we could do a board recording. Most of the time the answer was no, but not always. In the early 90s the stage was the back porch of the saloon, and there were a lot of trees that got in the way of sight lines. In the mid to late 90s they built a big stage out back in the pasture. The Pozo Saloon is so remote there is a story circulating that when Bruce Springsteen needed a place to confer with Clarence Clemons Bruce chose the Pozo Saloon as an out of the way place where no one would recognize them. Apparently no one did! My recording was uploaded to the Live Music Archive by Brad Foster a number of years ago but he used EAC to extract the trade disc that I sent him.
