Taper Notes:
View NotesNOTE: A 96 kHz/24 bit hi-res version is also available for this show. THE BAND: DM (acoustic guitar); Jeff Hill (upright bass); Andrew Sherman (keyboards); Ethan Eubanks (drums). SHOW NOTES: Combination solo/band show; recorded about twenty feet from the stage on the left side. HIGHLIGHTS: Similar structure to the New York show two nights prior. David starts "How Much" in the key of G, while the band joins in the planned key of Ab - at which point David asks Andrew to modulate from the wrong key to the right key (which he does). A bit of World Series talk tonight, and some expected political talk as well as the elections were the day before. The band launches into an unplanned "Girl On The Roof", and David ends the show with the first recorded performance of "Home". RECORDING/TRANSFER: As with the New York show, "Chatterbox" was the loudest song, so I used the peaks during that songs to gauge how much the recording needed to be boosted. I performed a 2dB hard limit in Audition - however, the quiet songs are still pretty quiet. All level adjustments were performed on the original 96 kHz/24 bit file. As always, I made no EQ adjustments to the original file. Files are fully tagged with ReplayGain info and titles. DIGITAL TRANSFER: November 2008. TEXT FILE UPDATED: November 8, 2008. LAST UPLOAD: November 8, 2008 (LMA and DIME). This show will be featured on the mineandyours.com Live Show Database where it will be updated with any new info as it becomes available: http://www.mineandyours.com/livedatabase/2008-11-05_ms957.htm
