View NotesThis run of shows ( 2/3,4,5) is highly memorable for all involved. It's in that vein, the community that is the Tri Phi Nation, that I post this version of an already posted show. As a professional recording engineer, in essence you could rightfully call me a Tape Op, I have no need to follow anything other than the pursuit of creating the highest audio quaility files possible, for the fans of Savoy Truffle; aka Truffle. For those technically interested, the SBD generating the source signal was mixed by me on an ALLEN & HEATH SR424 mk2. This mixing consol is notable for it's fully discrete preamps on all input channels. It also benefits from a Total Harmonic Distortion specification of better than .05%. I wish I had a spec on the source tape type, but it was likely a Maxell II type tape. Pro Tools mastering work relied on industry stand techniques using Waves plug-ins only; Waves Renaissance Compression and EQ along with Waves L1 Ultimax Limiter.
