I’m glad I finally did because this is a superb sounding show. Thanks to my friend ‘Taper Ron’ Owensby for getting me into the show and getting me board access. Ron used to run the DSO forums on the internet and was able to get me into a couple of DSO shows. This was the last DSO show that were were allowed board access. The matrix microphones, AKG C3000s, were owned by Dark Star Orchestra and set up back by the soundboard. I remember that we had a little area roped off by the front of the board where we set up and taped from. I never got to hear Jerry do the After Midnight >Eleanor Rigby >After Midnight, but I was able to hear DSO do it at the end of this show. Pretty cool! There were a couple of other tapers at this show, but no other recording has surfaced. I think that Ron and I were the only ones allowed to plug into the board. The others were just running audience mics. Enjoy! Share freely, don’t sell, play nice, don’t run with scissors, etc. ;)
