My friend ‘TaprRon’ Owensby was a big DSO fan, and also ran the DSO Forums web page online. I rode down to the show with Ron and we went in and received a board patch. However, the output that I was plugged into wasn’t turned on when the show started and I lost the first half of the first song. I guess I didn’t end up keeping the first set tape, because of the flaw at the beginning, so all I have is the second set. My recording of set II plus the additional DSO filler is 135 minutes long. The other source, listed on the LMA, for this date is missing the additional songs played as filler after ’Sugar magnolia.’ This was, to my knowledge, the only time that I was ever able to obtain a soundboard patch for a concert at the Ventura Theater.
