View NotesThis was the final Gilded Palace Of Sin show - after nearly nine years of putting on alt-country/Americana type shows in the Brighton area, outside forces have brought this to an end.
My first Gilded Palace show was back in May 2001 - Jason Ringenberg at The Lift - and then the memories just flow!!!  Hundreds of shows and hundreds of artists later it's over.  Brighton's loss too - why do all the good things have to disappear under the weight of dross and pap that far too many members of the general public succumb to under the media hype and bullshit - or are they just stupid??  Well, they would rather stay in and watch X-factor than see some real live real good music!!!

So it's thanks to Shaun, and his predecessors Dave and Charlie that I've been able to see and record so many great and interesting shows from such a diverse set of artists.  Real big thanks to Shaun for making recording available and to Matt for the always excellent sound, encouragement and, gaffer tape!!!
