-this one sounds better than the Camper Van opening set - don't know why - maybe sound got adjusted better in venue? Low ceiling in this place makes it muddy in general sound wise. Still I'd give this one an "A-" barely.
-by Cracker's set David's voice was completely shot - he was getting real sick and not in his usual fun mood - the show in Austin 2 nights later was even cancelled due to his illness, so he slogged through this one like a hero. So out of 13 tunes, David sang 7, Johnny 5 & Jon 1. They seemed to jam out a bit more on leads too to compensate. It's therefore a unique show, but definitely not the best Cracker show I've seen by a long shot.
-I love the 1st 3 tunes - 3 of my favorites, as is "One Fine Day", so I was good despite David's health issues - they nailed most of the tunes musically, just the vocals suffer.
-good sized crowd - Cracker popular in the Old Pueblo amongst the alt-country crowd.
-support Camper Van/Cracker - they are too fun not too!
-another Sonoran Desert Recording taped, mastered and seeded by Matt23.
-do not sell in any form ever!
