View NotesLocation: 20 feet from the stage, dead center, recorder about 3ish feet off the ground recording notes: I forgot my tripod at home so my solution was to shove the recording in the handle of my camera bag and have the bag hang in front of me and use my hand to try and keep the recorder as steady as possible. There's a lot of crowd noise cause of the low position and some of the quiter songs can be hard to hear. I missed most of soul asylum's set waiting on food which was too far away to record from. historic context: It stormed for about a week before this show, the thursday and friday shows of this festival was cancelled due to flash floods ruining the grounds where it was held. Luckily saturday and sunday went as normal because they where able to relocate on short notice. Dedicated to Andyman Davis
