Founded by writer producer Donick Cary, (who started it for his hometown high school on Nantucket Island), MUSACK funds are directed towards “at risk” and under-served kids. The MUSACK mission is to: Provide guitars with instruction to children. Support and sponsor musical and cultural exchanges and field trips. Offer music scholarships to talented kids who want to pursue the study of music in college. In 2013, MUSACK plans to expand into Los Angeles, California.
