I know this because the club had actually been called ROCKCANDY, but there was a big anti-gay initiative on the state ballot for that fall, sponsored by a group called the OCA. In a pro-gay rights, anti-ballot initiative statement, ROCKCANDY changed their name to RKCNDY saying, "We took the 'OCA' out of our name, so we hope that now you will like us even more".
