View NotesCowboy Junkies May 8, 2007 (Late Show) Belcourt Theatre Nashville, TN. The Cowboy Junkies played two shows this night at The Belcourt Theatre in Nashville, TN. The early show was at 6:30 pm and the late show was at 9:30 pm. Teddy Thompson was the opening act for both performances. I only attended the late show - but noticed other tapers set up - so, maybe the early show was recorded too. I was located in the 6th row - directly in front of the left stack. The Cowboy Junkies always put on a great performance and tonight was no exception. From the psychedelic space-jam of Lay It Down - to the heartfelt versions of three Townes Van Zandt songs (Rake, Flyin' Shoes, and Marie) - and several selections from their new record "At The End Of Paths Taken" - it was truly a great night! Enjoy the recording and continue to share the gift of music. Chuck
