View NotesConehead Buddha Line Up: Chris Fisher: Guitar, Vocals, percussion Christian DeFranqueville - bass/vocals Brian Kaplan - lead guitar Shannon Lynch - Sax/vocals Terrence Lynch - Trumpet/vocals Pete Bencini - Drums Notes: This was an earlier all ages show, which was followed by a later 21+ show, also at Valentines.Something happened during or after this show and I went home and didn't return for the later show. I honestly can't remember what. It certainly wasn't recorded. I had been taping Conehead Buddha as well as other bands since early 1996, and in all honesty, I think I got fed up and left, and that was it.I didn't feel like the old energy was there any longer. Truth be told, the band was falling apart. I don't think they played many more shows in 2000. Pete Bencini left, and I think they played in a format with Chris Fisher on drum kit, Brian on guitar,Terry and Shannon on horns, and Christian on bass for a short time and may have done a short run of local shows in the fall. The band sort of splintered, and new projects emerged. IAMJOB - Brian's first band he attempted as a side project while he was in CB was over. That band carried on without Brian and renamed themselves Honeycreeper, before fading away entirely. Terry and Shannon formed Lynch, and Brian formed The Brian Kaplan Band. Wiley Dobbs also emerged, which featured former Conehead Buddha Bass player Jim McCuen, and his twin brother Rob McCuen. This was an evolution of an earlier band that existed called The Fairy Gangstas.I didn't record Conehead Buddha again until the summer of 2001. It was a very interesting period of transition.
