The Artists' Quarter was available in St. Paul and the date was set. Little did he know he was up against Derek Trucks and Susan at the Mn Zoo, Tool down on the river at a big festi and the normal slow time that a Sunday in St. Paul is known for. The show started slow to a house of maybe 26-27 folks. As the various other attractions shut down other folks trickled in and the house became respectable in their appreciation and numbers. Derek and Susan came down around 11:30 and sat in for a spell. This was a nice treat for me to have the good Col. and his fine band spend some time in my favorite taping venue. I Hope you enjoy this record. See them now, then... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak8zy-5qcmQ&list=UUJ3AoB8d80j4IqNoY81BiJw&index=2&feature=plcp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOUhBxZ0yfk&list=UUJ3AoB8d80j4IqNoY81BiJw Big Thanks to Chris Cawthray for his kind help in patching up the setlist. Apologies to the LMA & Pharaoh Gummitt, there was no other place to put this one-of show.
