The ecstatic and energetic music that exudes from the five talented musicians effortlessly oscillates between progressive funk-rock, and electronic untz. Steeped in the improvisational tradition, each set carries with it the potential of 1,000 different paths forged only at the moment of inspiration. The powerful vocal harmonies and lyrics truly makes Catullus a unique experience that is not to be missed. http://www.catullusband.com/ https://www.facebook.com/catullusband/ GREY MATTER Grey Matter is a central NJ band devised of 4 talented and engaging musicians who come from a variety of musical backgrounds. The bands influences range from The Who, to Mahavishnu Orchestra, Pink Floyd, The Disco Biscuits, Umphreys McGee, Kung Fu, Charlie Parker, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and all you might imagine. The band takes these influences to create the unique sound they have yet to name mixing funk, EDM, fusion, jazz, and prog rock. https://www.facebook.com/GreyMatterIsDope/ THE PHONIES $ The Phonies started back in 2011 as the brainchild of Sean Conlon, Brandon Conlon, and David Greiff. After shifting their presence from New Jersey to Philadelphia, the band added new permanent members Andrew Connors, Mike Rilli, and Phil Hansen, along with a rotating cast of guest musicians, and they began performing throughout the tri-state area. From basements to bars to colleges and festivals, The Phonies have been building an audience and fine tuning their sound for the better part of three years. Part funk, part punk, and touching everything in between, their compositions are rivaled only by their live, improvised performances. They are now in the process of recording their first album, which is planned to be released in Fall of 2015. http://www.thephonies.net/ https://www.facebook.com/thephoniesOFFICIAL/ http://rockonphilly.com/2016/05/spot-on-the-lot-meet-the-bands-competing-at-ardmore-music-hall/ **Support Taper Friendly Bands and Venues like The Ardmore Music Hall**
