View Notes* Originally Recorded By Mother Love Bone. (partial) This concert was held in an air conditioned tent located next to the parking garage adjacent to the Meadows casino. It was a fairly nice venue with a great looking stage. When Candlebox came out on stage, I thought there may have been something wrong with the sound because Kevin's microphone was drowned out and the instruments (except maybe for the drums) were as well. The sound had absolutely no punch and was not up front whatsoever. I recorded this a mere 20ft from the stack and this is how it turned out. It sounds like I was in the back of the venue! I certaintly will not be returning to The Meadows Racetrack and Casino for a show any time soon. On the bright side, the performance was off the charts. Kevin sounded fantastic and the band was clearly having a great time on stage. Hearing "10,000 Horses" is always a welcome surprise as was the short "Chloe Dancer" prelude heading into "Far Behind" (for Andrew Wood).
