View Notes* = "Hungry Like The Wolf" intro tease, Originally Recorded By Duran Duran. This was the post show for Mad Viking's "Battle of the Beards 3" held in Warrendale, Pennsylvania at Jergel's. Sponge was also on the bill and played a one hour set prior to Candlebox. The competition ran very late and all 3 bands scheduled were pushed back. The opening band Deth Rattle (not recorded) were only given 3 songs instead of their slotted 45 minute set. Sponge and Candlebox were scheduled to go on at 9 and 1030 respectively & were delayed 90 minutes. Even with cutting Deth Rattle's set by 30 minutes they were still that far behind, no pun intended. Anyway, I am just assuming this is why Candlebox decided to cut 2 songs from their set (see attached). Those songs being "Breathe Me In" & the planned set closer, "The Bridge". I was very much looking forward to hearing "The Bridge", but maybe next time. The new Candlebox record is stacked full of good tunes, so hopefully they will change it up as they add more dates later in the year. On the recording, I had the stand directly in the middle of the floor facing the stage some 20ft away. The house mix for Sponge was far better than it was for Candlebox. It seemed to get better as it went on so the final half hour vastly improves. Crank this one up and enjoy!!!
