Unfortunately, David was coming down with a nasty illness: you can hear his voice is very hoarse and he comments several times about it, needing vocal help from other band members, etc. It's possible why lots of instrumentals and a short set too. It's still good and fun, but not up to the usual par due to David's condition. I saw that the show in Austin 2 nights later was cancelled per doctor's orders, so we're lucky he slogged through this for us. -saw the set later in tour varied quite a bity from this one. They did one of my favorites, and all told was a good mix - not much newer stuff really. Wished it was longer. -nice crowd - Camper has been coming to Tucson since late 80's so lots of familiarity between band and audience. -support Camper Van/Cracker - they are too fun not too! -another Sonoran Desert Recording taped, mastered and seeded by Matt23. -do not sell in any form ever!
