SOURCE / LINEAGE Mono AUD master to Maxell METAL tape Borrowed mics > Borrowed Sony WM-D6C > Master METAL tape > Computer WAV > Cool Edit Pro 2000 > TLH v2.4.1 > FLAC 8 > DIME > you I don't have the specific model for the mics, but the buddy from which I borrowed the gear (thanks K!) said they cost approx. US$500. Mics were physically separate left / right channel lines which fed back to a single stereo line into the deck. The left / right lines were either pinned over each shoulder facing stage, or pinned to left/right sides under an open-holed baseball cap. I originally mastered this 2000-12-30 & retained the original WAV fileset. I think the only thing I did on the computer was paste the good channel into the bad one & place track marks before each piece. This FLAC fileset comes from WAVs from this dub, which only needed SBE corrections in TLH; no CD-Rs or EACs. (The fileset size is smaller than yer average 85min show because of the mono - it really is FLAC 8.) NOTES As this is an original master & isn't too bad to start with, please DON'T remaster and repost it. - - - - So yeah, I had problems with the mic connection again - one good channel & one crap; that seems to sum up 1987, lotsa issues like that. When I did the master, I cleared the channel with nuthin' but a buzz / pasted a copy of the good one into the bad one. So it's mono, bummer, and there's a few mic bumps here & there, but it all sounds pretty good to my ear. Near the start there's some pop noises even in the good channel when the RCA plug contact shifts around; on source, not digital clicks. Nothing else was done sonically - raw Camper right from them to your earholes, baby. Disc one is Side 1 of the source tape; there's an edit before the first & third encores. Everything else is here but that little bit of clapping. - - - - Things might sound odd at the beginning, "unmic'ed"; well, the band walked in from the back of the venue playing the whole time. So that's acoustic mobile CVB for "Tina". Eventually they got to the stage & things sound normal after that. At the very end, they do "Ambiguity Song" acoustic too. Some new stuff (lotsa "Our Beloved" before it came out), some covers (Wade In The Water & the Kinks' I'm Not Like Everybody Else), some classics. It's a pretty damn good show, if ya ask me. - - - - I had this documented in my list for years, but I don't think I traded a copy, so this is likey its debut for folks. Crank it up and ENJOY! it as I have, and share it so others can hear it. - - - - Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. - "...-359" is 3min59sec long). One filename has "CO" in the name, as a colon isn't allowed in names. I mark the start of tracks when the music or count-in begins, not the talking about it before it starts. - - - - The usual schmack applies here: Please don't post this anywhere but DIME. Please retain this original info file data with any reseedings. Please don't transfer to MP3 or other lossy formats. Please only trade this with others, don't sell it. Please support the artists involved by purchasing their official product in massive quantities. length expanded size cdr WAVE problems fmt ratio filename 3:02.25 32163644 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t01.flac 3:19.45 35209484 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t02.flac 1:50.69 19566332 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t03.flac 1:18.72 13928588 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t04.flac 2:31.09 26657612 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t05.flac 2:37.74 27868892 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t06.flac 4:24.21 46619036 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t07.flac 1:59.02 20996348 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t08.flac 4:03.60 43006364 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t09.flac 3:23.04 35818652 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t10.flac 8:47.55 93092204 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t11.flac 4:16.02 45163148 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t12.flac 3:15.30 34468604 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d1t13.flac 3:40.44 38911532 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t01.flac 4:14.46 44913836 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t02.flac 2:58.47 31509788 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t03.flac 4:27.22 47150588 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t04.flac 2:09.59 22894412 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t05.flac 4:42.26 49805996 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t06.flac 1:28.62 15669068 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t07.flac 6:43.20 71136284 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t08.flac 2:42.38 28666220 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t09.flac 2:21.00 24872444 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t10.flac 2:20.39 24787772 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t11.flac 3:01.09 31949612 B --- -- ---xx CVB1987-10-30d2t12.flac 85:40.55 906826460 B 0.2851 (25 files)
