Taper Notes:
View Notes* Beatles cover ** War cover % w/ "Low Rider" (War), "Inchworm" (Frank Loesser), and "Blister in the Sun" (Violent Femmes) teases; w/ Scat jam ^ w/ Thundercloud (from the Winnebago Tribe in WI) @ starts out with a chant about Bobby peeing; morphs into a story about Dave Precheur (their tour manager) recovering from cancer of the accountbook; the band then sings him happy birthday (he turned 25) # w/ John Popper on guitar No hiss reduction was performed on this seed - despite being sourced from second generation analog tapes, the sound quality is generally excellent. There is some minor low end distortion throughout the show and a few instances of feedback (most likely from the PA, but possibly a result of the lineage). The tape flip in set one occurred between NY Prophesie (d1t11) and the banter before Hook (d1t12); no music or tuning/banter appears to be lost. The tape flip on disc two is between Sweet Pain (d2t09) and Mullin' It Over (d3t01) - again, no music or banter appears to have been lost. Presumably, there is a master DAT of this show *somewhere*. If you happen to come across one, put it into circulation - this is a great show!
