Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: - This CD is alternately labeled as "Birmingham Alamaba April 1992" (on the cover) and "The Blue Tomarrow" (as labeled on the disc, complete with typo). More info here: http://www.bluestraveler.net/music/disco/release_display.php?release_id=297 - The setlist on the CD does not match the database setlist; it sounds as though crowd noise was actually dialed up between tracks early on, and then removed (i.e. cut out, not dialed down) between the later tracks. - Original disc was recorded too fast, likely because of incorrect file downsampling. I slowed down the recording by 9% (the difference between 48kHz sample rate and 44.1kHz sample rate) and it sounded much better. Note that this did result in a 75-minute CD ending up as an 81-minute CD. - Dropout in d1t07 from 5:22-5:27, not coincidentally 45 minutes into the recording. Likely a tape flip. - Track 8 cuts off and does not finish. Track 9 almost sounds like it comes from a different source as the audience is quite audible, and there is an obvious cut in the crowd noise after the track ends. Track 11 also has a cut during the crowd noise. - Diginoise abounds in this recording. Pretty ugly and difficult, if not impossible, to remove. I have heard it on a previous rip from a different disc as well as this one. Likely happened in the original transfer to CD. Taper Notes:
View Notes- Originally downloaded via Furthur; no info file included. - Setlist does not match database. - Popping and crackling throughout. - Sounds as though crowd noise was removed. Especially notable between last four tracks. - Support Your Local Emperor may have come after d1t13; bass line can be heard from Bobby before fadeout. This show circulates as two bootleg CDs, "Birmingham Alabama, April 1992" and "The Blue Tomarrow (sic)". It is not known which one this is from.
