Blind Melon Sunday April 20, 2008 Meridian Blue Room Houston, TX Taper: prof_peabody Location: about 20 feet in front of board, near center, 11 feet high, DIN config Source: DPA4023 -> Aerco MP2 -> R-09 (24/48) Transfer: USB -> Wavelab 5 edits (dither with UV22HR) -> CDWAVE -> FLAC ******************************************************************* - Do not sell this live recording - Do not post remaster without taper's consent - Support artists that allow open taping ******************************************************************* Notes: Original WAVE files were dithered from 24/48 to 16/44.1 using the the UV22HR algorithm. Comments: I ran the mics a bit higher than usual, because I figured it would be a ruckus sing-a-long. Running the mics that high gives the recording a bit of a different sound. I think the drums sounded a bit distant in the mix. It was nice to have Travis' vocals really strong in the mix. Overall, this was a great show.
