Taper Notes:
View NotesThe Barefeet & Co. are Cookin'. From the first song it's evident that this is gonnabe one of Those nights. From the opening number you can tell, they are hot! Hometownshow at the Nyabinghi, sort of last minute but we were up for the task. While Reggie might set the town on fire, Adam Alexander IS on fire. He starts the night strong and steady, building momentum through each song, tearing it up until it's nothing but arms and cymbals and raw agression in Abe's Odyssey. But the icing on this cake of a live show comes in Reginold the Dragon, From the opening notes, to the end of the song Adam is posessed building the song through is verses. Comming into the Taming of the Beast part, you can feel the energy as they start of soft and slow, constructing the Beast. Adam keeping tempo, steadily increasing, he turns it up higher, and even higher until, you just can't believe these guys can find the "one". But there it is, and quickly back into pendemonium as they Blast into the last measure with reckless abandon,. And just when you think, "This guy is so far out there he can never bring it back.", he thunders the last hits with the band right there with him. Unbelievable!
