View NotesHere's a strange recording, don't worry it sounds excellent... but: I love this band and I had my Alesis HD24 multitrack recorder with me for recording. Before soundcheck I realized I had the wrong snakes (cables) with me to connect the board with the HD24. Fortunately I had my Edirol R09HR with me and I took my small 8 channel mixing board for recording. Got the vocals and ac. guitar from soundboard and mixed it with 2 mikes (ORTF) above the drumkit and 2 mikes (X-Y) behind the audience ('cause the were just backline; to pick up the bass, pedal steel and e. guitar). Result is fine, listen to the samples. But still... this band is amazing, next time we go for multitrack... with the cables I left home. Recording equipment: vocals BJ: Shure SM58/ vocals Kevin: Shure SM58 / A. guitar BJ: Art Tube Pre-amp : from soundboard Bass, E.
