Pink Lady Lemonade still contains the rarely-played "echoplex" section which was briefly revived for the first few shows of this tour - great to hear, as is the little Tsuyama loop-fest between the opening jam and Chinese Flying Saucer (another little touch that was eventually jettisoned). The recording itself is pretty interesting - it's a soundboard, but the house mix is very weird in places, particularly during Pink Lady Lemonade - dig that snare drum (LOTS of reverb - maybe this is just bleed-through from all the other stage mics?), and Hiroshi's rhythm guitar is pretty much on equal footing with Kawabata's lead (usually one or the other is completely buried) - this creates a really fascinating effect on Pink Lady, where it almost sounds like the main theme is being played by chapel-house bells. Lots of Tsuyama too. Fun times for all!)
