View Notes* fob bust ** acoustic this recording is seamless. 24/96 and dsd files have been archived. first id like to thank amy k. shes the best, if she'd been there i would have been sitting and chilling with her, but she wasnt and encouraged me to make the best recording i could. the mics were worn in a hat. during the tuning between cucamonga and miracle, you can hear me get busted for not having a ticket to be where i was. i was about 40ft from the stage, about a million miles from where my ticket was. ;) total sweet spot. i didnt wanna push my luck, so i turned and headed back to the corner of the soundboard. so the sound on miracle is subpar. my nemesis security guard was waiting for me at the aisle, but as soon as he turned his back to bust someone else, i slid back upfront, and remained there the rest of the show. there were alot of very drunk people that turned around to yell the words in my face (i understand singing, but turning to me and yelling the words at me?? that i dont get), i had my head hit with balloons, and a couple of girls tried to take my hat. whatever. so this recording aint perfect. its good, its not great, but i had alot of fun making it. hopefully a better copy will show up from the section, but in the meantime enjoy this, warts and all. oh, and drums gets really LOUD, so watch your ears if using cans. the same security guy the second night busted me three times upfront. he got very angry with me, i really ruined his night by showing back up on the floor every time. oh well, as soon as you get rid of scalpers and i have a fair chance to get a good seat, ill sit in assigned seating. until then, keep on keepin on my fellow sport tapers.
