Wed. March 8 High Noon Saloon presents Reason For Leaving Turbine The Steepwater Band 9:00 pm / $5 cover 21 AND UP Turbine, based out of NYC, combines outer space harmonica with various styles of music, from rock to funk to bluegrass. Their vast catalog of originals serve as launching pads for improvisation. Relix Magazine recently named them "Artists on the Verge". The Steepwater Band unveils a raw, punchy brand of rock that draws from multiple musical traditions yet is firmly on the cutting edge of the back-to-basics impulse. The Chicago-bred trio plays an organic, hard driving synthesis of gusty hard rock, gritty Delta Blues, soulful backwoods boogie and down-home psychedelia.
