View NotesNotes: Here's a little unheard-until-now treat for fans of these great Canuck jammers while we wait for them to (hopefully) emerge from their self-described "sabbatical/chasm." Mics on a stand, (s)ORT(o)F, dead center about 25 feet back of the band, who played (if taper recalls correctly, without a PA, i.e., amps only / no mics on drums?) on the floor of a very high-ceilinged loft. Event was an unusual gig for the trio: a loft party / live painting and auction full of aloof artsy types not really paying attention; conversations near mic during quieter sections attest to this. One or two paintings were in progress near the mics, and conversations and sounds related thereto (e.g., tape being torn off a roll) are occasionally picked up; there are also some mic stand bumps.
