This was a co-heading tour between Counting Crows and Maroon 5 featuring Sara Bareilles opening the show.  I taped all three acts.  For Sara's set I was allowed to fly my mic stand at the full 12ft. height, however Nissan Pavilion's Production Manager asked me to lower it for the two main acts.  I raised and lowered the stand constantly in responce to the audience's reaction to the band (when the audience stood, the stand went up to about 6-6.5 feet, when they were sitting, it was lowered to be about 6 inches above the tops of their heads).  Overall, I'm very happy with how the tapes came out, however this recording regrettably includes some cut-outs which resulted from loose connections.  I tried my best to locate and turn down the affected areas, it's worst in track 10, when for over a minute towards the end of the song and during the band introductions the sound cuts out completely.  I cut out the loud clips and inserted very rapid fade in's / out's to ease the distraction, however is it still rather jarring.  Sorry for the technical issues, I hope it doesn't affect your overall appreciation of the recording!
