View NotesInstagon session #549 4th Annual Davis Jazz & Beat Festival, Log Cabin Stage, Davis, CA first "Log Cabin Jam" , improvisation "poems with David Meltzer" features the Beat poet himself reading words while Instagon collaborates and accompanies him. His reading is about 30 mins long, he reads perhaps 7 or 8 pieces while the band plays with him.. we had great fun.. He was witty and very cool about playing with. This posting is being done in honor of David's passing yesterday (12-31-16). We wish him well on his travels. David Meltzer 1937-2016 RIP LOB - bass CHAD E.
