View NotesThis is the first time that I saw this ensemble, live. I had seen them on a junior college public television broadcast numerous times in the mid-to-late 1980's (Saddleback College Mission Viejo, CA). They were posed in an old west style corral and bunkhouse scene, and playing this music, as if live. I loved the music, and watched the broadcast a few times over the years, when it was broadcast. Years later, I saw this concert being advertised, and I contacted Ciro Hurtado, and was given permission to record this concert. He kindly allowed this recording, and a few more over the years. These other recordings will be posted here as well. But this is the first recording that I did of them. I'd like to deeply thank Ciro, and the band, for allowing these recording to be posted here at LMA, so that others might hear just how great this band is. I hope that you all enjoy. Happy listening.
