View NotesNotes: - major upgrade to shnid 131004 - Tom Thumb tracking starts with "We want Phil" chant, cause its all about star power. - I was in my early twenties when I experienced this Scarlet > Fire first hand. It was a religious experience then & it remains so to this day. - Jerry wasn't ready to finish Stella. Man, does he fight to keep her going too.

View NotesNotes: This was recorded by my old friend and touring/taping partner Gris, with my gear while I was an honored guest (POW) of the state of Kanasas for a year(mostly 89 and early 90). After taping with my gear for a while Gris finally flipped for an incredible outfit including this Lunatek thing, a DAT deck, and a pair of balanced Neumann KM-140s. Gris recorded the Emmy Lou Harris at Lund Auditorium. The tape flip during set II was near the end of Terrapin(100's didn't save us). I faded out and back into it. I tried for a few hours to patch it, but had neverending problems with the speed of the patch source. It could easilly be due to my lack of experience with this process. It seemed much slower and just leaving my fades was preferable. I didn't get the impression that my masters sounded too fast. If I'm mistaken, please offer your opinion. I haven't noticed anything irregular in the speed of my source deck versus the speed of my play back deck which is my only workinig unit. I have read much about others having problems with this issue. I hope the recordings sound accurate. No enhancement or equalization was used in the recording or transfer of these or any of my recordings. Everything set straight up and flat. I included two versions, one fits on three discs and another slightly edited 2 disc version (nothing missing but the tuning and some crowd noise).
