View Notes# as they head to break Weir says: "We're going to take a short nap and be right back" ** Before they could start Weir says: "It looks like Jerry's Wah-Wah has given its' all for Rock n Roll" notes: After Stranger you can hear the guys next to the mics scream "Freebird, Freebird". Later they accurately call out Ramble On Rose while the band was tuning. Boisterous and rowdy was this crowd! There is bass distortion throughout the recording. Best guess is Nakamichi mic batteries were low OR the Pre-amps in the Nakamichi 550 couldn't handle the load from the mics (the latter being common for the era).

View Notesnotes: most of lil red rooster cut + other problems that were the result of problems. i stitched it back together pretty well. it suffers from that early 80s fob lack of balanced mix at times (overstated vocals/understated instruments) at points, but nevertheless a pretty decent recording.
